Winton Flail Mower WFL145 1.45m. The Winton flail mower WFL145 is a heavy duty machine which is perfect for tackling overgrown areas. This mower is fitted with heavier hammer flails and gearbox for tougher grass and weed control. When grass and weeds are at a more manageable length this mower gives a fine grass finish for lawns or sports fields when used regularly.

Several hammer style blades are mounted to the cylindrical rotor in a spiral layout. This action is most efficient and then creates finer cuttings. It is also better suited to uneven ground types than conventional rotary and topper mowers. The mower is also belt driven, there are 3 drive belts which give power to the blade rotor shaft.

This machine benefits from an adjustable rear roller, this can be adjusted up or down along with the tractor top link arm to change finish and cutting height. Then the rear roller helps to avoid blade scalping on uneven areas. The mower also benefits from 2 height adjustable skids to adjust the cutting height. It also helps to avoid the mower scalping and leave an even cut when mowing.

The implement can be attached to the 3 point linkage of a range of small or compact tractors.
