Shoof Hoof Lifter Complete. The Mk2 Shoof Hoof Lifter for cattle, is even simpler, without the frame required on the original model.  The lifter simply locks onto the pipe rail of a control race or crush, where the pipe is no more than 48mm diameter, with the rope looping over an upper rail.

The rope is pulled down and attached to the cow’s ankle and the leg, front or back and winched up to the required height.

Ideally the leg is then secured to the appropriate rail, using a vet-rope.
